A father and son have died following a fire in an apartment in Sligo town.
The emergency services were called to the scene on Market Street at around 5am.
The men, aged in their 30s and 60s, were taken to Sligo University Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The State Pathologist was contacted and post mortem examinations are due to be carried out.
Six people rescued from other apartments in the block were treated for smoke inhalation.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.
