A man is being held at a garda station in Dublin following an assault on a woman in her 50s near St Stephen's Green.
The incident took place at around 4.15pm yesterday afternoon.
The man, who is in his 30s, is being held in Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing and no further information is available.
