A 20-year-old student has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Co Fermanagh schoolboy Oisín McGrath, who died following a playground incident nearly three years ago.
Francis McDermott of Camphill Park, Newtownbutler, Co Fermanagh appeared at Dungannon Crown Court over the unlawful killing of the 13-year-old from Belcoo.
The teenager died in hospital on 9 February 2015 four days after the incident at St Michael's College, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.
McDermott was a sixth-form pupil at the school at the time.
Members of the McGrath family, including the schoolboy's parents, Nigel and Sharon, were in the court.
McDermott was released on continuing bail of £500 while pre-sentence and other reports are prepared.
Judge Stephen Fowler warned the university student that being granted bail was no indication of "how I will deal with this case ultimately".
Prosecuting counsel Ciaran Murphy said that it was his intention to obtain victim impact statements from the McGrath family.
McDermott will be sentenced next month.
