Six people, including two three-year-old twins, have died after their car fell into a sinkhole near the Crimean capital of Simferopol.
The hole is around six metres deep and eight metres wide.
The accident happened on the motorway between Simferopol and the village of Nikolaevka.
The car with eight passengers fell into the pit after the vehicle entered the unlit part of the road.
Ibrail Eskandarov, aged 34, died when he crashed into the sinkhole together with his wife, 33-year-old Eskandarova, three-year-old twins Asan and Muslim, and 16-year-old Aliye.
Another passenger in the car, 37-year-old Salimova Asiye also died, according to police.
Two of the passenger's children who were also in the car, a 12-month-old toddler and a 12-year-old, were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Their condition is described as critical.
