Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari is said to have suffered a "minor heart attack".

He is in Dubai for a small operation, but will return to Islamabad tomorrow and is said to be in good health.

Mustafa Khokhar, minister in charge of human rights, said that despite media reports there was "no question of any resignation" by Mr Zardari.

Pakistan's government has been under extreme pressure in recent weeks following the resignation of its ambassador to Washington over an alleged memo to the Pentagon asking for help in forestalling a feared coup attempt in May.
