Six schoolgirls and one adult were rescued by a lifeboat off the coast of Co Louth this afternoon.
The group were on a canoeing trip from an adventure centre when they were pushed out to sea by strong winds.
The Clogher Head lifeboat was launched when the canoeists were spotted a kilometre off shore.
