Shoppers in São José do Rio Preto, Brazil, witnessed a wild scene on Wednesday, when a runaway bull invaded a local clothing store for an hour before ramming its way through the window display.
Residents said the bull looked like it was part of the display, as it stood still in the store’s entrance staring at the street.
When a group of local residents tried to remove the animal with ropes, it crashed through the giant glass entrance.
Several men managed to lasso the bull and place it on a truck. According to TV Globo, the animal was taken to a local cattle farm
Store clerk David Nunes said told TV Globo he had to hide in the bathroom during the invasion.
‘I’m still scared, that sort of thing never happens,’ Mr Nunes said.
The bull was one of several animals being transported in a truck that crashed on a local highway. The driver and some of the animals were killed in the accident.
