A 19-year-old Leaving Cert student has been killed in a road crash near Mitchellstown in north Cork.
Seven teens were travelling in a 4x4 when it overturned and crashed about a mile outside the town just before 7pm.
The five females and two male teens were family or friends from the Mitchellstown area.
The old Dublin road north of Mitchellstown is closed and local diversions are in place and gardaí are appealing for witnesses of the crash to contact them.
