Eamon Scanlon ,TD, and Senator Marc MacSharry have been selected to contest the upcoming general election for Fianna Fáil in Sligo-North Leitrim.
Both candidates were selected unopposed at a party convention chaired by Tánaiste Mary Coughlan, TD, at the Southern Hotel in Sligo this evening.
The newly elected leader of Fianna Fáil Micheál Martin, TD, addressed over 500 delegates at the event.
