A new puppy that Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin received as a present during a recent visit to Bulgaria, has been named Buffy.
Last night, Mr Putin received the family of a boy who had sent a proposal by e-mail of a name for the dog.
The 5-year-old boy, Dima Sokolov, came to the governmental residence in Novo-Ogaryovo to the West of Moscow, together with his father Mikhail and mother Yulia.
Putin acquainted Dima with the puppy.
