Three motorcyclists have died in separate road accidents on both sides of the border
A 23-year-old man died in a road accident in Co Wicklow.
The man was seriously injured when his motorcycle struck a telegraph-post on the R747 between Tinahely and Hackettstown, Co Carlow at around 12.15pm.
He was taken by ambulance to Naas General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
In Limerick, a 30-year-old man was killed when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a wall near Shanagolden at around 6pm.
He was removed by ambulance to Limerick Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Elsewhere, a 41-year-old man died in a crash in Belfast. His motorcycle collided with two cars on the Crumlin Road at around 1pm.
