A massive sinkhole has been left in the wake of Tropical Storm Agatha in Guatemala swallowing several buildings.

At least 150 people have been killed in the region becasue of the storm.

Over 90,000 people have been forced from their homes in Central America because of Tropical Storm Agatha.

Agatha, the first big storm of the new hurricane season, has caused flooding, mudslides and sinkholes in Guatemala and Honduras.

At least 150 people are dead and survivors are now concerned that the region's crucial coffee crop is at risk because of the intense humidity and it is feared the death toll will rise.

Tropical Storm Agatha brought three feet of rain and left a trail of destruction in its wake with rivers bursting their banks and landslides destroying entire communities.

A State of Emergency has been declared in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

The rescue effort continues but collapsed roads and bridges are making it a very difficult task.

Tens of thousands of people across the region have been moved to shelters with more rain forecast in the coming days.
