Gardaí are treating as suspicious the death of a man in Waterford city earlier today.
His body was found in a house on Morrisson's Road.
The man is believed to have been a 26-year-old Polish national who was living in Waterford for a number of years and has family in Ireland.
Gardaí have interviewed a number of people, but so far there have been no arrests.
A decision on whether the investigation will be upgraded will be made tomorrow after a post mortem examination is carried out.
The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination.
