The Garda Ombudsman Commission is investigating the death of a 39-year-old man in Garda custody in Co Tipperary.
He has been named as Johnny Nevin of Templemore, Co Tipperary.
Mr Nevin was taken into custody from his home in Templemore yesterday afternoon and became unwell at the town's Garda station.
He was taken to hospital in Nenagh, were he was pronounced dead yesterday evening.
