Two French aid workers who were kidnapped in the Central African Republic last year have been freed in Darfur.
The two men spent more than 100 days in captivity after being kidnapped in November 2009 by an armed group from Darfur.
Their abduction was one of a spate of kidnappings of aid workers in the region, among them two women who were working for the Irish aid agency GOAL.
Sharon Commins and Hilda Kawuki were released last year. A French Red Cross employee is now the only foreign aid worker still in captivity in Darfur.
