A makeshift bomb exploded outside Greece's Press Ministry building in Athens tonight causing damage but no injuries, a police source said.
‘There was an anonymous warning call to two TV stations and a newspaper 15 minutes before the device went off,’ the source told Reuters.
The explosion, which shattered windows, is the second one in Greece in less than a week.
A Greek leftist guerrilla group has claimed responsibility for planting a makeshift bomb which exploded outside parliament on 10 January, causing no injuries and only minor damage.
Leftist and anarchist groups have mounted a series of attacks against police, business and public institutions since the police killing of a teenager triggered Greece's worst riots in decades in December of 2008.
