Michael Jackson's mother has been awarded custody of the singer's three children, a court in Los Angeles has ruled.
The court ruled that 79-year-old Katherine Jackson be the permanent guardian of Prince Michael, aged 12, 11-year-old Paris and Prince Michael II, aged 7.
A judge approved an agreement between Mrs Jackson and the singer's ex-wife Debbie Rowe, which gives her visitation rights to them.
Mr Rowe - the mother of his two eldest children - will receive no money beyond an existing spousal agreement, reportedly worth some $8.5m.
Judge Mitchell Beckloff meanwhile agreed to provide Katherine Jackson with an allowance, paid by the singer's estate, along with an allowance for the three children.
The amount of the payments was not released, but the allowance for the children was 84% of what the attorneys had requested.
Katherine Jackson was named temporary guardian of her grandchildren at a court hearing in Los Angeles four days after her son's death on 25 June.
The 57-year-old singer had nominated his mother to raise his children in a will in 2002.
