Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery which occurred on Howth Road, Clontarf at approximately 1.15pm.
Security company staff were servicing ATM's when they were held up by at least two raiders.
The two men produced what appeared to be a sawn-off shotgun and a single shot was fired.
Cash was stolen from the security staff and the two suspects made their getaway in a four wheel drive/jeep-type vehicle.
