Ulster Bank has lost ten laptop computers over the past two years, a spokeswoman has confirmed.

Eight of the laptops were said to be used for training purposes, while the bank says the information contained on the other two was encrypted.

The spokeswoman said there was 'absolutely' no sensitive customer information stored on any of the computers.
