A nine-year-old girl who went missing in Britain three weeks ago has been found alive in a house about a mile from her home in west Yorkshire.
Shannon Matthews disappeared as she walked home from school in the town of Dewsbury last month.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of abduction.
The schoolgirl was last seen in CCTV images on 19 February as she left a sports centre.
Neighbours in the Yorkshire town joined a huge search.
Today police smashed their way into a house ten minutes walk from Shannon's home.
They found the little girl upstairs hidden in the base of a bed.
A 39-year-old man who was in the house is being held on suspicion of abduction.
