A jury hearing the trial of a man charged with murdering his estranged partner in front of their son has retired to a hotel for the night.
33-year-old Hadim Kedik, with an address at Connolly Street, Clonakilty, Co Cork, has pleaded not guilty to murdering 30-year-old Rose Patterson in April 2007.
The jury of eight men and four women will continue their deliberations at the Central Criminal Court in the morning.
