The PSNI is urging the public to be vigilant following warnings that an explosive device had been placed in Tyrone.
A call to police this morning claimed that the device had been left near the PSNI station in Strabane.
Members of the public are asked to report any suspicious objects but are warned not to touch them.
A PSNI spokesperson said extensive searches had been carried out, but nothing was found.
