Three Irish soldiers have been fined over an incident in which troops were filmed pointing loaded weapons at locals in Liberia.
The incident was captured on video and later appeared on the YouTube website.
The three privates were fined between €150 and €250 each.
A Defence Forces spokesman described the event as intolerable and extremely disappointing.
