Woman killed in Limerick collision

A woman has died following a road accident in Co Limerick.

The woman, a cyclist in her 40s, was hit by a car around 2km outside Bruff on the Kilmallock road at 6.50am.

Her body has been removed to Limerick Regional Hospital.

The road has reopened after a technical examination.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact Bruff Garda Station on 061-382940.
