An SDLP MLA has confirmed that police in Northern Ireland have warned him that his life may be in danger from loyalist paramilitaries.
The warning to the East Derry Assembly Member and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, John Dallat, is based on information obtained by the PSNI.
Loyalists are said to have been monitoring Mr Dallat's home and tracking his movements.
