An investigation has been launched into the crash-landing of a helicopter yesterday evening outside Newtownmountkennedy in Co Wicklow.
Both the pilot and a passenger on board escaped injury but the helicopter was completely destroyed by fire.
The Department of Transport's Air Accident Investigation Unit have launched an investigation at the scene and gardaí have sealed off the area.
It is understood it was a British-registered helicopter.
