A man has died following a road accident in Gorthaork, Co Donegal.
The single vehicle collision happened at around 7.45am this morning at Glasserchoo, Gorthaork.
The man died when the car he was driving went into with a ditch.
Meanwhile, a woman in her 70s was killed in a road accident yesterday afternoon near Killarney in Co Kerry.
It is understood she was crossing the road in Ballydowney on the outskirts of the town when she was hit by a car coming from the Killorglin direction.
The stretch of road where the crash happened has been the scene of a number of fatalities in the past few years.
