A Belgian man has appeared in court after a dinner guest found the bodies of his wife and stepson in a freezer.
The woman went to the police after discovering the 46-year-old woman and her 11-year-old son as she put away the leftovers.
Police officers arrested the man in the town of Verviers, near Liege in east Belgium, on Wednesday.
Prosecutors want the 43-year-old suspect to be remanded in custody to allow more time for an investigation into the deaths.
Investigators said the suspect had not made a confession about the find but the spokesman added that the couple argued a lot.
