A fire has gutted a tyre depot on the Dock Road in Limerick.
The blaze, which occurred at Midwest Tyres just after midnight, is now under control.
There was a lot of asbestos in the building and there are now fears that some of it might be airborne.
Locals and motorists in the area have been asked to keep their windows shut as a precaution.
The road has now been reopened.
Gardaí have not been able to gain access to the building to try and establish the cause of the blaze.
