A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a 25-year-old man who was shot in the early hours on Sunday morning.
The man, who has not yet been named by gardaí, was shot at a house at Fortlawn Park in Blanchardstown in west Dublin at around 5.30am on Sunday.
A man called to the house and shot the victim in the neck before escaping on a motorcycle.
Gardaí from Blanchardstown have launched the murder investigation following the man's death at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
