The City of Derry Airport at Eglinton is to reopen to commercial flights with effect from midnight tonight.
The British Civil Aviation Authority closed the airport on Friday because of what it described as a 'systematic failure of safety management'.
Today, Derry City Council said the Airport Authority had worked over the weekend to complete remedial works.
The decision to fully reopen the airport followed a joint inspection by the Civil Aviation Authority and the Airport Authority.
British Airways will operate its full programme of flights to Glasgow and Dublin. All charter flights to holiday destinations will operate as scheduled by First Choice and Falcon holidays.
Ryanair will resume their flights to London Stansted, East Midlands, Prestwick and Liverpool with effect from Wednesday.
