A full recount is under way in Kerry South and another two have been ordered in Tipperary South and Dublin North, while a recheck is under way in Dublin North East.
A full recount is under way in Kerry South at the request of the Labour Party.
Their candidate Breda Moynihan Cronin was eliminated after the fourth count with just 55 votes separating herself and Independent Jackie Healy-Rae.
Healy-Rae was elected subsequently on the sixth count without reaching the quota.
And there is to be a full recount in Tipperary South.
There were only 59 votes separating the two contenders for the last seat, Martin Mansergh and Seamus Healy.
The recount has been ordered at the request of Seamus Healy and will begin at 9 am tomorrow morning.
A recheck is under way in Dublin North East after candidates were notified that some 48 votes were unaccounted for, following the elimination of Sinn Féin's Larry O'Toole.
The recheck is likely to take two hours at which stage there will be an announcement of the results of the elimination of Mr O'Toole.
Fianna Fáil's Martin Brady is still likely to call for a full recount at that stage.
Meanwhile, a full recount has been granted in Dublin North because of an estimated 11 vote difference between Labour's Brendan Ryan and Clare Daly of the Socialists.
Currently Ryan is 87 votes ahead of Daly but the tally of the distribution of David O Connor's vote following his elimination gives Daly the lead.
The recount will get underway at 9am tomorrow. Whichever candidate loses this count will be eliminated.
