Gardaí have named the victims of yesterday’s road traffic collisions in counties Kilkenny and Monaghan.
The 71-year-old man killed in yesterday’s collision in Co Kilkenny was Michael Quinn of Gortahile, Crettyard, Co Laois.
He died after the car he was driving collided with a pole on the N9 at Mullinavat.
The man killed in the collision in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, was 34-year-old Shaun Burgess of Moneyglen, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan.
