Woman critical after Dublin collision

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which has left a woman cyclist in a critical condition.

The crash occurred at 10.15am this morning at the Junction of Wolfe Tone Quay and Temple Street West and involved a rigid lorry, which was carrying a skip, and the cyclist.

The woman, who is in her 40s, sustained serious injuries and was removed to St James's Hospital.

Any witnesses to this collision should contact Store Street Garda Station on 01-6668000.

Separately, a 68-year-old man died last night when his motorcycle was in collision with a car outside Augher in Co Tyrone.

He has been named as Colin Radcliff from Omagh.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident, which happened on Favour Royal Road, leading to Aughnacloy, just before 9pm.
