Traffic was slightly heavier than normal this morning on the N7 inbound at the Red Cow roundabout as drivers dealt with a new road layout.
However, while traffic remained slow initially it soon returned to its normal level.
Meanwhile drivers heading east on the N7 have been warned to expect delays from this afternoon into the early evening.
The layout transfers traffic onto the new pavement through the Luas car park.
There is also a new location for the right turn into the Luas car park from the N7 inbound.
Elsewhere, services on the Red Luas line are getting back to normal following earlier disruptions.
Commuters experienced 25 minute delays as a result of a technical fault between Heuston and Connolly stops.
