Girl airlifted after fall on Galway mountain

A 14-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital this evening after being injured in a fall on a mountainside in Connemara, Co Galway.

A 14-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital this evening after being injured in a fall on a mountainside in Connemara, Co Galway.

The girl was climbing Diamond Hill near Letterfrack when the accident happened.

She was taken to University College Hospital in Galway by the Shannon based coast guard helicopter.
