Five people have been rescued from a boat which went on to rocks in Lough Derg.
The accident occurred a short distance offshore near Scarriff in Co Clare.
Members of the Mount Shannon inshore rescue team succeeded in taking the five people off the cruiser.
Efforts were to be made later to tow the boat to safety.
