Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Ballycumber, Clara, Co Offaly.
An elderly female pedestrian was fatally injured when she was struck by a car at about 12.20pm.
Another female pedestrian was seriously injured.
Both were removed to Tullamore Hospital.
