One person has been injured in an accident involving several vehicles on the M50 which has resulted in long delays for traffic.
The incident occurred on the southbound carriageway of the motorway close to the Toll Plaza.
Gardaí say that the person was cut from the wreckage and taken to hospital earlier this afternoon.
They said initial reports from the scene suggest a car and two trucks were involved.
