Man 'critical' following Dublin Bus crash

A man is in a critical condition in hospital following an accident involving a Dublin Bus this morning.

He was struck by the bus just outside the entrance to Beaumont Hospital.

Separately, the 20-year-old student nurse who died in a road traffic accident in Co Cork this morning has been named as Siobhan Holland, from Kilbonane, Aherla, Co Cork.

She was the sole occupant of a car which collided with a cement lorry at Casey's Cross, Ovens, at around 7.20am.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck was taken to Cork University Hospital where his condition is described as 'stable'.
