Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams has said outstanding issues in Northern Ireland could be addressed by the November deadline, but only if the DUP engages in talks with his party.

Speaking to RTÉ News, Mr Adams said Sinn Féin supported policing once it has delivered within the framework of the Good Friday Agreement.

He also said he did not want the British or Irish governments making short-term concessions for the sake of pacifying the DUP.
