A 15-month-old girl has been killed in an accident at a community centre in Carrigaline, outside Cork city.
It is understood the child was knocked down by a car in the car park of the centre.
She was rushed to Cork University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The scene of the accident has been cordoned off and is being examined by gardaí.
