Two dead following Dublin accident

Two men have died following a road accident on the Howth Road in north Dublin.

Two men have died following a road accident on the Howth Road in north Dublin.

Barry Dunne, 23, from Casana View, Howth was the driver of a car which hit a cyclist outside the Offington Estate in Sutton shortly after 3am this morning.

The driver of the car and the cyclist, 61-year-old Thomas Masterson from Woodbine Drive, Raheny, were both killed in the accident.

The car then collided with a taxi. The five occupants of the taxi were brought to hospital and were treated for their injuries.
