Ethiopia/Eritrea border talks make progress

Talks between Ethiopia and Eritrea over a long running border dispute have ended with some apparent progress.

Mediators say they are hopeful that the first face-to-face contact for three years between the countries may have broken the deadlock in the dispute.

Ethiopian officials at the two-day meeting in London indicated that their government now accepted without reservations the decision of an international tribunal to award several territories to Eritrea.
