Videotape has emerged in the US that seems to contradict President George W Bush's assertion that he had no warning about the severe threat posed by the approach of Hurricane Katrina.
The storm flooded the city of New Orleans six months ago killing hundreds of people and leaving thousands others homeless.
A videotape obtained by the Associated Press shows President Bush being briefed by officials on the eve of the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
The video shows very strong warnings being given to Mr Bush about the potential strength of the storm, including the possibility that the levees might breach, flooding the city.
