A daughter of the DUP leader, Ian Paisley, is taking legal action against her father and his fellow party officers alleging sex discrimination over a job application.
Rhonda Paisley lodged the discrimination case after she was turned down for a post as a Policy Officer with the party.
According to a report in today's Belfast News Letter, Ms Paisley is taking a case to the Office of Industrial Tribunals and the Fair Employment Tribunal in Northern Ireland.
Ms Paisley is alleging she was turned down for the post of Policy Officer at the DUP headquarters in east Belfast because she was a woman.
The post, which was advertised late last year, went to a male DUP councillor in Co Armagh.
The tribunals' office confirmed the case had been lodged, but said a date for the hearing had not yet been set.
Amongst the respondents in the case are Ms Paisley's father, Ian, her brother Ian junior, DUP MPs, and MLAs including Paul Berry.
News of the Paisley versus Paisley legal action comes just two days before the DUP leader and senior party colleagues are due in Dublin for talks with the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern.
