A new opinion poll indicates that three quarters of voters blame the Government for consumer rip-offs.
The poll, published in the Sunday Business Post, also suggests that 89% of voters believe they are being ripped off on a daily basis.
It shows a 5% drop in support for the Fianna Fáil-led coalition Government.
In a separate telephone poll conducted by the Sunday Independent, the cost of living emerged as the greatest concern among 86% of respondents.
The surveys come in the wake of the popular RTÉ consumer series, Rip Off Republic, presented by Eddie Hobbs.
