The US vice president, Dick Cheney, has left hospital where he was taken for precautionary tests after becoming short of breath.
Mr Cheney, 62, was admitted to the hospital in Washington on Friday night.
He has suffered four heart attacks in the past 20 years, the last of which in 2000 shortly after contesting the presidential race.
However, doctors have ruled out any cardiac cause of Mr Cheney's symptoms.
They also said his illness was not caused by respiratory problems.
A White House spokesman said it is likely Mr Cheney had a viral or respiratory infection after suffering from a bad cold.
