Two drug seizures made in Dublin

Drugs with a street value of €1.2 million have been seized in two joint operations by gardaí and customs officers.

In the first seizure, cannabis resin valued at €700,000 was found in Ranelagh. Four men in their 40s were arrested.

The drugs were concealed in air-conditioning units which had arrived by ferry from Spain.

In the second seizure at Dublin Port, cannabis valued at €500,000 was found concealed in packaging which had also arrived by ferry from Spain.
