RTÉ News has learned that the US president, George W Bush, is to visit Ireland on 25-26 June next.

RTÉ News has learned that the US president, George W Bush, is to visit Ireland on 25-26 June next.

He will be here for talks with the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, in his capacity as President of the European Union.

No venue has been set yet for the discussions which will centre on EU/American relations.
